Jyngle is a real-time aural and augmented reality mobile application used globally. It's usage of "JScapes", a proprietary blend of physical and downloadable content, became an integral part of the business model used by similar platforms.[1][2] Jscapes are used both to record and to play back audio environments, as well as in-app editing functionality.
Jyngl had its beginnings as a tech demo in a Stanford dorm room, but was soon founded as it's own independent company in November 2013.[3] Jyngl was bought by Facebook just 2 years later for an impressive $4.8 billion.[4] As of March 2032, Jyngl has 1.2 billion daily users.[5]
